Own safety and health plan
The own safety and health plan includes the set of safety and health measures specific to each entrepreneur or subcontractor.
When a contractor commits to perform works on the site, he must submit his own safety and health plan to the project manager, to the beneficiary or to the coordinators in the field of safety and health.
The contractor must establish this plan within 30 days from the date of contracting the work.
The own safety and health plan must be harmonized with the site’s safety and health plan.
The contractor who carries out all or a part of the works that must comply with the provisions of the safety and health plan with one or more subcontractors, must send them a copy of his plan and, if necessary, a document containing the general measures of safety and health for the works on the site that fall within its responsibility.
When developing the own safety and health plan the subcontractor must take into account the information provided by the contractor and the provisions of the site safety and health plan.
The subcontractor must draw up his / her own safety and health plan within 30 days from the date of contracting the work with the contractor.
